Non ci sono molti testi in italiano sull’argomento mentre si tratta di un argomento (o di un punto di vista) ormai abbastanza diffuso. Anche se vale la pena sottolineare (per non incorrere in anacronismi) che mai prima di questi anni la storia dell’uomo era stata vista da questo punto d’osservazione. Nel rispondere semplicisticamente del perchè, si consideri che l’ambiente nella storia comprende anche:
- come era considerato l’ambiente nei tempi passati
- la storia dell’idea di ambiente e del movimento ambientalista.
Detto questo, si consiglia di partire da una cronologia degli eventi che più hanno influenzato la storia

E’ di grande interesse anche perchè contenuto volutamente in uno spazio ragionevole. A mio giudizio potrebbero essere stati maggiormente sviluppati la preistoria e il medioevo.

Environmental History is an issue (or a point of view) now fairly widespread with many texts in English but very few in italian. It is worth pointing out (to avoid anachronisms) than ever before our time the man had seen history by this point of view. For a start we have to consider these arguments, too:
* as the environment was considered in the past
* the history of the environment and the environmental movement.
