The Holocene warming is an interglacial period and there is no reason to believe that it represents a permanent end to the current ice age. However, the current global warming may result in the Earth becoming warmer than the Eemian Interglacial, which peaked at roughly 125,000 years ago and was warmer than the Holocene. This prediction is sometimes referred to as a super-interglacial. Il riscaldamento nel Olocene è uno  periodo interglaciale e non vi è alcun motivo di ritenere che essa rappresenta un fine definitiva all’attuale Glaciazione. Tuttavia, l’attuale riscaldamento globale può comportare che la Terra diventi più calda rispetto alla Interglaciazione Riss-Würm, che raggiunse il massimo circa 125.000 anni fa ed è stata più caldo rispetto alla Olocene. Questa previsione è talvolta indicato come un super-interglaciale.
Compared to glacial conditions, habitable zones have expanded northwards, reaching their northernmost point during the hypsithermal. Greater moisture in the polar regions has caused the disappearance of steppe-tundra. Rispetto alle condizioni glaciali,  la condizione di abitabilità delle zone si è estesa verso nord, raggiungendo il loro punto più settentrionale durante la’Ipsitermico. Una maggiore umidità in regioni polari ha causato la scomparsa di steppa-tundra.
Ecological developments
Animal and plant life have not evolved much during the relatively short Holocene, but there have been major shifts in the distributions of plants and animals. A number of large animals including mammoths and mastodons, saber-toothed cats like Smilodon and Homotherium, and giant sloths disappeared in the late Pleistocene and early Holocene—especially in North America, where animals that survived elsewhere (including horses and camels) became extinct. This extinction of American megafauna has been explained as caused by the arrival of the ancestors of Amerindians; though most scholars assert that climatic change also contributed.

Le piante e gli animali non si sono evoluti molto nel corso di un tempo relativamente breve come Olocene, ma vi sono stati importanti cambiamenti nella distribuzione di piante e animali. Un gran numero di animali, compresi i mammut e mastodonti, felini con denti a sciabola come Smilodon e Homotherium, bradipi giganti  scomparvero alla fine Pleistocene e primo Olocene, specialmente in Nord America, in cui  animali che sono sopravvissuti  altrove (compresi i cavalli e cammelli) si estinsero. Questa estinzione di megafauna americano è stata spiegata come causata dall’arrivo degli antenati degli amerindi; sebbene la maggior parte degli studiosi sostengono che anche il cambiamento climatico ha contribuito.
Throughout the world, ecosystems in cooler climates that were previously regional have been isolated in higher altitude ecological “islands.”
The 8.2 ka event, an abrupt cold spell recorded as a negative excursion in the delta O18 record lasting 400 years, is the most prominent climatic event occurring in the Holocene epoch, and may have marked a resurgence of ice cover. It is thought that this event was caused by the final drainage of Lake Agassiz which had been confined by the glaciers, disrupting the thermohaline circulation of the Atlantic [1].  In tutto il mondo, gli ecosistemi dei climi più freschi che in precedenza erano regionali sono stati isolati in alta quota, “isole” ecologiche.
L’evento 8,2 ka, una brusca ondata di freddo registrato come un’escursione negativa nel record del rapporto ossigeno 18 e 16  di durata 400 anni, è il più evidente caso di escursione climatica verificatasi nel Olocene, e può avere segnato una recrudescenza della copertura di ghiaccio. Si ritiene che questo evento è stato causato dal drenaggio definitivo del Lago Agassiz che era stato confinato dal ghiacciai, che ha perturbato la circolazione termoalina  of the Atlantico.
Human developments
The beginning of the Holocene corresponds with the beginning of the Mesolithic age in most of Europe; but in regions such as the Middle East and Anatolia with a very early neolithisation, Epipaleolithic is preferred in place of Mesolithic. Cultures in this period include: Hamburgian, Federmesser, and the Natufian culture.
Both are followed by the aceramic Neolithic (Pre-Pottery Neolithic A and Pre-Pottery Neolithic B) and the pottery Neolithic.
Modern climate sees man engaged in Mesolithic age. The hallmark of stone technology in this period are microlith; a small retouched tool made to be inserted in shafts of bone or wood (part of a complex stone technology involving replacable parts)
Ended with the introduction of farming  what Mithen terms the “Neolithic package” (including farming, herding, polished stone axes, timber longhouses and pottery) spread into Europe by routes that remain controversial among scholars, the Mesolithic way of life was marginalized and eventually disappeared. The Mesolithic population was small and well spread out. Having few people around; global estimates vary from 5 to 20 million.
10000 years ago, mother earth sees a modern climate, animal, plants and flowers almost as our ones. Man is around already working to change this primeval world.

Lo sviluppo dell’uomo 
L’inizio del Olocene corrisponde con l’inizio del Mesolitico in gran parte d’Europa, ma in regioni come il Medio Oriente e Anatolia con una precoce neolitizatzione, il termine Epipaleolitico è preferito al posto del Mesolitico. Culture in questo periodo sono: cultura di Amburgo hamburgian, Federmesser e Natufiana.
Entrambi sono seguiti dal Neolitico aceramico (Pre-Pottery Neolitico A e Pre-Ceramica neolitica B) e le ceramiche del Neolitico. 
Un clima come l’attuale vede l’uomo impegnato in età Mesolitica. La caratteristica della tecnologia della pietra in questo periodo sono microliti;  un piccolo strumento ritoccato fatto per essere inserito in manici di osso o di legno (parte di una tecnologia complessa in pietra che contempla la sostituzione di parti consunte)
Si conclude con l’introduzione dell’agricoltura o, come si dice, il “pacchetto neolitico” (tra cui l’agricoltura, la pastorizia, asce di pietra levigata, ceramica e caselunghe in legno) si sviluppa in Europa trsmite rotte che restano controverse tra gli studiosi. Il modo di vita  del Mesolitico è stato emarginato e infine scomparso. La popolazione del Mesolitico era piccola e ben distribuita. Con poche persone, le stime  a livello mondiale variano da 5 a 20 milioni di individui.
10000 anni fa, la madre terra, assiste a  un clima moderno , animali, piante e fiori, quasi come quelli nostri. L’uomo è di  già al lavoro per cambiare questo mondo primordiale.

Questa festa risulta la più organizzata che non vuol dire la meglio organizzata. Un deciso aumento del flusso di leghisti ha reso la logistica più farraginosa.

Il clima politico. Quella di quest’anno è la festa delle celebrazioni. Tanta carne è stata messa al fuoco e occorre concentrarsi per portare a casa il risultato. Non si riesce a proporre nuove iniziative. Federalismo fiscale, sicurezza, identità locali assorbiranno l’impegno nel breve medio periodo.

Environmental History is an issue (or a point of view) now fairly widespread with many texts in English but very few in italian. It is worth pointing out (to avoid anachronisms) than ever before our time the man had seen history by this point of view. For a start we have to consider these arguments, too:
